Winfield utilizes Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to teach a consistent set of expected behaviors for students. The school's behavior expectations can be easily remembered with the acronym R.O.A.R.

Staff consistently uses this language to give specific feedback to students about their behavior. Students may also earn ROAR tickets when they have been observed following one or more of the ROAR behaviors. Students are rewarded for earning tickets through pep rallies, assemblies, and classroom incentives.
